My Brother Dave Got Engaged!

I don't really think you can call this late breaking news since it happened on Sunday 1/22, but it is absolutely exciting. Dave "popped" the question in front of about 60 members of my family during my Grandmom's Birthday breakfast.

According to sources close to the family, Dave and Laura had already discussed getting married and wanted to celebrate on a day special to the entire family.

The ring, was actually given to the couple by Aunt Dot, Dave's Godmother, as a gift. It was her engagement ring given to her by her late husband (Uncle Don).

They are working on a date and I will definitely be there to witness a truly joyful moment. I am very happy to have Laura officially in the family.
